Baptist Medical Missions International opens the doors for BMA missionaries to share the love of Jesus through the gift of medical missions! That gift builds bridges of trust for children and their parents to receive Christ’s invitation of salvation. Children from around the world receive essential medical attention and medicine through BMMI. For many, it is their only opportunity to see a doctor.
Through Mission:VBS, the children in your church will meet a child in a distant land. They will see how that child lives every day. They will meet a BMA Missions family and hear about their missionary journey. And lastly, they will have the opportunity to give a VBS offering so that children around the world can receive the blessing of the medical attention that they need. Every day, your Vacation Bible School children will learn what BMA missionaries are doing around the world!
This is intended as a 20 – 30 minute rotation that will fit into any VBS you choose.
Each day, we ask that you take an VBS offering for BMMI. That money will go to help buy medicines and pay the expenses for the doctors and nurses to visit the mission field. We suggest that you be creative in how you take the offering! Use a competition between the boys and girls or between classes… make it fun! But please stress that the offering given will help a boy or girl see a doctor and receive free vitamins and medicine.
