Talking vs. Communicating
November 1, 2021Are We Burdened For the Broken?
December 10, 2021Javier Muñoz Ruiz co-pastors a Nicaraguan church but is unlike other co-pastors in the principality of Grenada, because he is also called to provide education and training of fellow pastors.
One of the only men in the area with a four-year degree, Pastor Javier graduated in 2007 with a bachelors degree in theology and pastoral formation. In 2010 he was ordained as pastor to work as an associate at Diriá Baptist Church.
On his own time and using his own resources, he travels to rural areas that have little to no infrastructure, electricity, or Internet and conducts Bible training and education for what Bro. David Dickson calls his “jungle pastors.”
Pastor Javier is also involved in producing gospel media for Lifeword and training young men in technology so they can continue spreading the message of hope in Central America.
Bro. David Dickson visits these jungle pastors regularly and says, “Pastor Javier has been at the forefront of efforts in Nicaragua to provide continuing Bible training to our pastors and missionaries who serve throughout the country. In addition to his responsibilities as co-pastor of one of the larger congregations in Diria, Nicaragua, he constantly travels to different regions of the country to provide Bible instruction to leaders who would be unable to attend classes at a central location. He is an example of a servant of God using his unique gifts to enlarge the kingdom.”
Please pray for ChangeMaker Javier Muñoz Ruiz, along with his wife and two children, as they serve the Lord faithfully in Central America.
