ChangeMakers in the Amazon

New Testament and missions history declares that missions is active, not passive. Missions is not defined as much by geography as it is by going. Somebody has to move toward others with the message of Jesus Christ with a view of making disciple makers and starting churches.

The Great Commission is a command that literally means the following:

As you go, disciple the nations!

Havenilton Reis and his wife Eliane know what it is to “move it” in God’s global mission, and they have been used of God to plant a vibrant church in the “far west” of Brazil.

They moved 1,850 miles away from Sao Paulo, Brazil to the city of Porto Velho where they planted a church, a joint effort between BMA Global Missions and BMA Brazil.  The church has been self-sustaining for a few years and is now seeking to plant new churches and support existing churches in the Amazon Basin.

Havenilton and Eliane are ChangeMakers in the upper regions of the Amazon Basin!
